What Goes In (part III)

Trans Fat is a type of fat formed when unsaturated (liquid) is made into solid fats, by Hydrogenation. Hydrogenation is the process known as the addition of hydrogen atoms. Just like what I’ve said earlier, it’s horrible because studies have shown that Trans Fat causes STROKE, CORONARY HEART DISEASE, OBESITY and Liver Dysfunction and other chronic ailments. Well, you just might be surprised if your favorite fast food contains more than 2 grams of trans fat even when we should not eat more than 2 grams of trans fat. Oh, your favorite food on those fast food restaurants you eat regularly contains more than 2 grams of this killer fat!

Check it out!

One of my favorite fast food yummies are fries, i looove fries! (I think everybody likes fries). These fries contain 5-8 grams of trans fat, from medium to large sized fries.

You like onion rings? Another favorite yummy from the fast food. Onion Rings contain 4- 4.5 grams of killer trans fat.

Burgers, Quarter Pounders, Double Cheeseburgers....Yummm... Burgers contain 4-5 grams of trans fat. These foods get our bellies full... full of trans fat!

So will there be any chance that I'm going to see and take my kids to Ronald (McDonald's) again? It just breaks my heart to know that my favorite foods from the fast food restaurants contain trans fats and other bad cholesterol forming ingredients. According to the American Heart Association, some meat and dairy have enough naturally occurring trans fat, so consuming the manufactured trans fat from the food of these fame and fave fast foods won't be necessary.

Watch your meat consumption. Yes, meat is just tasty but when you eat too much meat, do not wait ‘til you can no longer taste anything due to ailments caused of too much eating meat!

Pigs and cattle eat unclean foods. The unclean foods that they eat go through their stomach and accumulate on its flesh and more likely to be infected by worms. The feeds fed to some cattle and pigs that give them energy, boost their growth and prevent them from being sick are chemical products and antibiotics.

Chickens are given injections of hormones; antibiotics and other chemically produced vitamins to prevent them from getting diseases and increase their egg production. On the other hand, chicken meat is better than pork or beef because it has lesser fat and its meat is white.

Beware of eating too much meat because if you convert to be a vegetarian for even after many years, the toxins left from the meat you have eaten still remains on your intestines. Only a thorough cleansing will do the detoxifying of your blood, digestive system and vital organs. When we eat beef and pork the most, all the chemicals fed or injected to them are getting inside our bodies too.

Not only the chemical-grown meat and bad cholesterol from meat are threats to our health but those ingredients included in our food. Preservatives from canned foods are also chemicals for its shelf life. Most seasonings, used for cooking and food manufacturing, to add some unique good taste contain MSG.
