Moon Walker Leaves

I'm starting with the man in the mirror
I'm asking him to change his ways
and no message could have been any clever
if you wanna make the world a better place
take a look at yourself and then make a change ...
-Man In The Mirror (Michael Joseph Jackson)

King of Pop Michael Jackson dies at 50. Paramedics reported that MJ died after suffering a cardiac arrest. - Yahoo! News.

Seems unreal, the moon walker is gone. I still remember playing my favorite MJ songs on my MP3.. He left us with songs that touched many people's lives and influenced many good artists. Some are trying to be like him, wanna be like him - but no matter what, Michael Jackson is always the King of Pop and no one can beat that. He was once a humanitarian. He donated millions to charity.

To those who keeps throwing bad words at MJ, please let us all be reminded that he is mortal and only human. Let's not be judgmental. Every one of us has sinned and for as long as we live, we are given the chance to make a change. As said in the bible, "Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone ..." from John 8:7. Well maybe he just suffered emotional torture when was a child that resulted his so-called "eccentric behavior" / attitudes for him to act differently. Instead, let us just look at what he had contributed to the music industry and a lot of people cherish the joy of the music he has shared with us. Just think about how he has thought of the people from Africa that suffers hunger and scarcity of water. As far as I know, MJ was the first pop artist to consider those poor people, specially kids in Africa where some of us enjoy our lives in the comfort of our homes. (if anyone wishes to correct me if MJ was not or was the first pop artist to think of the people in Africa, the deed of thinking about those kids, please feel free to do so, thanks!) Let us be thankful that with MJ around, a lot of artists are making their way to stardom because of MJ's influence and some of us enjoy their music a lot. With the changes MJ made to himself, let him be.. we have no control over the likes of a person, but in reality, why such a change when you've got an awesome voice and you've got the moves?.. but for me, all I can see is someone who brings joy to many.

I don't even know why despite the accusations, bad mouthing & name calling, I still embrace this great entertainer. He's touched my life and my heart for so many reasons, for so many times. I don't know why do I have this feeling that he has a powerful music - listening to his music makes me happy, groovy and sometimes emotional. Unlike any other artists on my MP3, when I hear their music, it's just like any other ordinary feeling.

Michael's music tells us to try changing ourselves first if we would want to change the world. He had thought of the world in his songs and through it, he wanted to help change the world; he wanted to be there for those children in Africa, he wanted to stop the war between nations and he thought about equality. Have we pondered about what's next for the world with all the torture it's suffering from humanity - water and air pollutions, chemicals threatening the environment, no more tree planting...

I hope all of us would not only sing MJ's songs but as we sing to it, let us be aware of what the message tells us...

In our darkest hour
In my deepest despair
Will you still care
Will you be there
In my trials
And my tribulations
Through our doubts
And frustrations

In my turbulence
Through my fear
And my confessions
In my anguish and my pain
Through my joy and my sorrow
In the promise
Of another tomorrow
I'll never let you part
For you're always in my heart
-- Will You Be There (Michael Jackson)
